You might even want to teach others how to dive and make it your profession. You can certainly do so if you have the passion to teach and the skills needed for effective communication. Before you can be an open water scuba instructor, you will have to complete a certification course consisting of two part: the assistant instructor course and the open water scuba instructor program.

Certification

An instructor will be the primary person responsible for the safety and well-being of his students. If anything happens out there, he must be able to perform first aid and other emergency procedures. This includes CPR and the like. Training must have been received within the past 24 months.
