A label sheet is not ordinary paper with adhesive added to the back. It is a layered material with a face stock for printing, an adhesive for attachment, and a liner that protects the adhesive before use. Each layer affects the finished result.
Face stock influences ink clarity and whether a pen will write cleanly. Adhesive performance varies with glass, cardboard, plastic, coatings, moisture, and temperature.
Before ordering label sticker paper, check the intended surface, printer type, label dimensions, shape, and final use. A sheet that looks suitable on a screen may behave differently once printed and applied.
