Before standardizing a container across several rooms, request samples or complete product specifications and let representative users test them under normal conditions. Record whether the scale remains readable under task lighting, whether the base fits the available shelf, and whether the spout directs liquid without excessive dripping.
Note any conflict with carts, sinks, funnels, or storage bins.
Procurement staff can also compare material information, available capacities, replacement timing, and labeling options. A short test record gives supervisors a basis for discussing container sizing and material compatibility with suppliers, rather than relying on a catalog description or a single user’s preference.
